Newborn: Baby Eden

Melissa and Jessica (my wonderfully-amazing assistant/second shooter) set up this Newborn Session while I was away spending a bit of time with my family. The session was for the night after I got back to Thompson, and I was looking forward to getting some extra special baby cuddles!

I don't know about you, but I absolutely love newborns. I find it so much fun to capture all the little wonders that make them into the tiny little being they are.

At first Eden was so alert and awake I wasn't sure what our session would hold! In every Newborn session, I always let the baby lead the session, what poses they find comfortable or calm them is typically the direction it will lead. That is why every newborn photography session is unique and based on the baby model of the day! Our session with Eden is no different - and he let us know what he felt like doing!

So many precious moments, from the sleepy lion to a very sly little smile I'm so thrilled with being able to capture all these moments for Melissa to have for the future. <3
